Notes for: Sarah Jane Saunders

Sarah Jane or Sarah Isabella Saunders, daughter of Fredrick Washington "Fed" Saunders and Winnie Jane Bodine, must have died shortly after the birth of her first child, as did her mother before her. In a record of sale between W. P. Eaves and S. W. Blount filed for record on March 26, 1874 in San Augustine, mention is made of a deceased child of W. P. Eaves and Sarah Jane Saunders. The property involved was a one fifth part of the John Bordine survey in Hunt County that was awarded to Winne Jane at the time of division.
