Julie Ann McKee, 63, of Mt. Zion, Ill. passed away 10:37 p.m. February 5, 2025 at her family residence. Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Maroa, Ill. with Scott Marsh officiating. Burial will follow at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, Ill. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association. Julie was born January 20, 1962 in Chicago, Ill. the daughter of Richard "Dickie" and Patricia (DeVore) Bodine . She married Donald "Don" McKee May 23, 1986 in Decatur, Ill. Survivors include her husband, Donald "Don" McKee, Mt. Zion, Ill.; children: D. J. (Aubrey) McKee, Bement, Ill. and Jessica (Josh) Foster, Mt. Zion, Ill.; two grandchildren: Karen McKee, Bement, Ill. and Tinlee Foster, Mt. Zion, Ill.; mother, Patricia Boggs, Mt. Zion, Ill.; and sister, Jodi (Chris) Peer, Mt. Zion, Ill. Julie was preceded in death by her father. Julie worked at Jewel-Osco in Decatur, Ill. for 14 years. She enjoyed playing card games and Bingo and watching scary movies.
