Herman Alvin Boyd, 74, of Springdale died Monday, March 1, 2004, in the Northwest Medical Center of Washington County in Springdale. He was born Oct. 13, 1929, in Widener to Wallace and Gladys Duncan Boyd. He was a retired dental technician. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Lee Boyd. He is survived by his wife, June Boyd; a half sister, Marjorie McCain of Hanford, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Deborah Montgomery of Conway; a stepson, Dwain Smith of Seaford, Va.; and three stepgrandchildren. Visitation will begin 11 a.m. today in the Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale. The Rev. Johnny Sisemore will officiate. Burial will be in the Stuckey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Halley, Kirnon Lewis, Richard Roberts, Don Gleason, Robert Gracy and Mitchell Johnson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stuckey Cemetery Association, 4751 W. Oaklawn Drive, Springdale 72762.

Raymond Everett Smith, 82, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died August 28, 2013 at his home. He was born October 21, 1930 at Sulphur City, Arkansas, the son of Arthur Everett and Myrtle Ivy Gabbard Smith. He was a farmer, a Baptist and a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Navy. Survivors: Wife: Sarah M. Cox Smith of Huntsville, AR; Son: Dwain Everett Smith & wife, Vickie of Seaford, VA; Daughter: Deborah Montgomery of Little Rock, AR; Sister: Barbara Hackelton & husband, Carl of Patrick, AR; Three grandsons and one granddaughter.
