VANDER WAAL, GERRY , Geraldine Faith Vander Waal, 74, passed away Monday, May 15th, 2006 at her home in Highland Village after a battle with cancer. Family visitation is planned for 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 19th, 2006 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5500 Morris Road, in Flower Mound. A native of Iowa, Gerry was born to Leon and Florence Colwell in Livermore on January 10, 1932, and graduated from Algona High School in 1949. She married Lee Vander Waal on September 16, 1951 and they had three children. Gerry is survived by her husband, Lee; daughter, Terri Albrecht and her husband, Robert and sons, Kenneth and Scott, of Asbury, N. J.; daughter, Wendy Benanti and her husband, Sam and daughters, Alyssa and Gianna of Barnsboro, N.J. Also surviving is a brother, Charles of Ankeny, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey, as well as her parents, two brothers and a sister. Besides the Flower Mound services, a memorial service will also be held in New Jersey with interment at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, N.J. Arrangements by: Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home 148 W.
