Notes for: Gerrit Van Der Waal
He, his wife, and four of his kids (not Arie) are in the 1895 Iowa State Census of Marion County (probably Pella). All were born in Marion County except for Flora who was born in the Netherlands.
His obituary is in the Pella Booster Press of December 11, 1918. It actually says he died on Friday at 2am. That would have been December 6, not the December 5 that is found in some other records.
