Sandy Alexander Wise, a native of taylor County, Kentucky, was the son of John Madison and Margaret (Rodgers) Wise.

He married first to Lucy Ann (Caulk) Wise and secondly to Martha Alice (Benninbgfield) Wise.

Mr. Sandy A. Wise was the 54 years, and 23 days old married son of John M. and Margaret (Rodgers) Wise. The informant for his death certificate #13230 was Elmer Wise of Spurlington, Kentucky. Mr. Wise died at 6:00 p.m. in the Phillipsburg Voting Precinct in Marion County, Kentucky Voting Precinct of a Cerebral Hemorrhage, according to his physician, Dr. B. T. Black of Campbellsville, Kentucky. He was a farmer. The certificate says tat W. W. Odewalt was the undertaker in charge of the arrangements for him to be buried here on May 11, 1911. The cemetery was then called Union Ridge.
