His wife's name from Sweden is Christina Catharina Nilsdotter but she also went by Stina Cajsa as a nickname. I have also seen her last name Americanized as Nelson.

These next set of images are full of wonderful info!!!! Here in the US, we have censuses taken once every 10 years (unless a State conducts their own census). But in old Sweden, their census records are called exams and their exam book pages are kept updated thru-out a time span - which is much more than what we do in the US. A new exam book is started several years after the previous (such as 5, 7, 9 years later). No real set pattern in number of years after the previous one. But what you will notice is that there is a start year & an end year to each book. Thru-out those years covering that time-range span, the pages get updated with family member info .... who was born & birth date, who got married & when & to whom, who died & death date, who left home & to where they went, who came back home, who emigrated & when. Families are listed on the pages typical to how all Scandinavian census & tax records are recorded - which is according to the Farm name or their home's name.
These are handwritten in Swedish, gothic script of the 1800s, which should not be too difficult for you to read, but I will transcribe for you (just in case) & makes it easier for you to copy & paste info & names.
So for these exam book pages, here is the family living at the Batels farm, in När, Gotland, Sweden.
I will put them in order by time....
The 1st exam image is Batels 1852 - 1857.
Anton August Thomasson is at the bottom.
His father is at the top, followed by his mother, then 2 of his siblings.
The 1852 seen above the father's name means that the family moved to that home in 1852. The word to the left of 1852 (above Thomas' name) says that he is the head of the household.
Thomas Jacobsson - born 11 June 1824 in När, Gotland, Sweden.
The word ''Hustru'' above his wife's name means ''wife''.
Stina Cajsa (is Christina Catharina Nilsdotter) - born 12 Sept 1826 in När, Gotland, Sweden. It then says that her parents are Nils (of the Frigges farm) & Greta Cajsa Persdotter. (Nils' name is Nils Petter Nilsson).
Next is their daughter, Lena Gardrud Thomasdotter - born 28 Aug 1850 in När, Gotland, Sweden.
Then a son, Jacob Niclas Thomasson - born 01 June 1852 in När, Gotland, Sweden. After that, the 6/6 says that Jacob Niclas was baptized on 06 June 1852. Then to the far right, it was updated that Jacob Niclas Thomasson died on 14 July 1852 in När, Gotland, Sweden.
Last is Anton August Thomasson - born 31 Aug 1853 at the Batels farm in När, Gotland, Sweden. Baptized 04 Sept 1853.
The 2nd exam image is Batels 1858 - 1861.
Now the deceased son Jacob Niclas is gone.
Thomas Jacobson, Stina Cajsa Nilsdotter, Lena Gardrud Thomasdotter, & Anton August Thomasson remain unchanged.

a son, Johannes Niclas Thomasson - born 20 June 1858 at the Batels farm, När, Gotland, Sweden.
a son, Thomas Alfred Thomasson - born 02 Sept 1860 at Batels, in När, Gotland, Sweden. Baptized 08 Sept 1860. Then died 11 Dec 1860 (death date seen to the far right).
The 3rd exam image is Batels Grund 1861 - 1870.
Now we see 2 more children...
a daughter, Catharina Lovisa Thomasdotter - born 11 Feb 1862 at Batels, in När, Gotland, Sweden. (aka Cajsa Louisa).
a son, Carl Oscar Thomasson - born 01 Oct 1864 at Batels, in När, Gotland, Sweden. Died 24 Dec 1864 in När, Gotland, Sweden (death date seen in the far right bottom corner).

Here's the 1871 - 1880 exam page for Batels, in När, Gotland, Sweden.
Lines 1 - 6 are the living family members. Now you can see the military name of Bodin added to Johannes (lines 5 & 8) and to Anton (on line 7 & 10).
For the father, Thomas Jacobsson, it says that he returned from North America (USA) on 27 Aug 1874.
For Anton, on line 7, you see Bodin used & it says that he was in Rohm (Roma), Gotland, Sweden & returned on 03 Nov 1873.
Lines 10 - 13 are Anton (now married) & his wife & children. It says they moved back to Batels in När, Gotland, Sweden from Rone, Gotland, Sweden on 01 Nov 1878. It also says that Anton August Bodin & Anna Sofia Åkerman were married on 26 Oct 1878.
Anna Sofia Åkerman - born 21 July 1859 in Tuna, Kalmar, Sweden.
Anton & Anna's daughter, Wendla Karolina Antonsdotter Bodin (possibly also known as Vendla Carolina Bodin) - born 09 May 1878 in Visby, Gotland, Sweden.
Anton & Anna's son, Anton Johannes Antonsson Bodin (aka Anthony J Bodine, in Ohio, USA) - born 19 June 1880 at Batels, in När, Gotland, Sweden.
