Notes for: James Samuel ("Jim") Lane

Information about this man and his family has been almost impossible to find and the name of his parents are unknown. Per information provided by Arthur Lane, "Jim" was said to have had two brothers, John and Arthur, and no sisters Per census info, Jim was born about 1880. He may have taken the date shown. Jim's father, by tradition was Choctaw indian and it has been said that Jim and his brothers may have born in the "Indian Territory" of Oklahoma. There is very little definite information at this point.
