Notes for: Ida May Bodine
From Ronny Bodine:
Based upon the following records it seems evident that Ida May Bodine was the offspring of a relationship between a Bodine and Mary Bartles as Ida's mother was named Mary Bartles on her death certificate and with whom she was living in 1870. Since Mary was not identified as a Bodine, the relationship may not have been one of marriage and so finding the father seems unlikely although there was a Bodine family living in Doylestown at that time headed by Elisha Wilkinson Bodine (1824-1874) and a single man, Abraham M. Bodine (1842-1900). With little more to go on, one might suspect Abraham to be the father of Ida, as both lived in District 129 of the Township of Doylestown.
