Notes for: Fredrick Newton

This man, his wife, and three of his grandchildren appear on the 1860 Census of Barbour County, Alabama. The children belonged to his daughter Mary Ann and Granberry Bridger. Apparently, they both had died prior to the time of the 1860 Census. Living in an adjacent household was a Crawford Newton, a son of Fredrick. Two of Mary's children were enumerated in his household. In these two cases, the names were Bridges in one household and Bridger in the other.
