Accused of a murder on 2 Feb 2022. At a traffic stop by police, on 23 Feb 2022 in Brantford, he escaped, but was found dead soon after. Implication is that he committed suicide.

Obituary. Nieko died suddenly on February 23rd, 2022 before any of us had a chance to say a proper goodbye. I am inviting all of Nieko's friends and family to honour his life and grieve his passing. There will be three events to celebrate his life; you are welcome to attend any or all and bring anyone who Nieko would consider fam. Nieko's visitation will be at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Rd. Paris, on Wednesday March 2, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nieko's 'Celebration of Life' ceremony will start at 7:30 p.m. at the Dominion Telegraph Event Centre, 97 Grand River St. N, Paris Nieko's 'After Party' will start at 8:30 p.m. until late, also at the Dominion Telegraph Event Centre.
