Nathaniel Harold Bodine, age 44, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. He was born July 26, 1978 in Estes Park, CO to Robert William Bodine and Darahlee Hughes. Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth & Eva Mae Lynch, Harold Carl Bodine, Alice Pearl Bodine Little, and Barnie Little. Nathan was an avid hunter of arrowheads, mushrooms, ginseng, and yellow root; loved all things cars including, collecting, selling, and working on them; loved cats, dogs, animals of all kinds, kids, fishing, kayaking, and being outdoors. He especially loved his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother, Darahlee Hughes of Vine Grove; father, Robert William (Pamela) Bodine of Lancaster, KY; sisters, Amie Jo Bodine of Louisville, KY and Leticia Rose Bodine of Amarillo, TX; brothers, Caleb Daniel (Hannah) Bright-Hughes of Bloomington, IN and Nicholas Vaughn (Candace) Hughes of Irvington; nieces and nephews, Skyler, Jaleah, Jazmin, Lucas, Ricky, Kenny, and Hollis; and many extended family members. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 11-3:00 P.M. EDT at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at the Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Kuster officiating. Burial will follow in Bennett Cemetery by his Mamaw and Papaw.
