Miss Ruby Jean Budine, daughter of Mrs. John Kelly of Sydney, NY AND Robert Marsh Bucher, son of Mrs, Adelaide M. Bucher and the late Holmes C. Bucher, were married Saturday in the home of the bridegroom's aunt, Mrs. Andrew Howatt Wilson of 820 Grant Ave. The Rev. B. H. Marshall, pastor of the Mary E. Wilson Memorial Chapel in Watchung, performed the ceremony.
Robert M. Bucher is listed in the Plainfield, New Jersey City Directories from 1940 to 1947 living alone, but in that of 1950 he is listed with wife Ruby J. Bucher. They are also listed in the 1955 Somerville, New Jersey City Directory as residents.

Dunellen---Services for Robert M. Bucher, 49, of 140 Green Brook Rd., who died yesterday in Muhlenberg Hospital will be held at the A. M. Runyon and Son Funeral Home, 900 Park Ave., Plainfield, at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Mr. Bucher, a Plainfield native, was associated with Miller Rambler Company, Westfield, and was a member of the First Methodist Church, Plainfield. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruby B. Bucher and an aunt, Mrs. Andrew H. Wilson, 820 Grant Ave., Plainfield. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Ruby J. Bucher March 7, 2012 Ruby J. Bucher, 93, of Fair Haven, NY, formerly of Greenbrook, NJ, passed away Wednesday at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego, NY. Born June 18, 1918 in Walton, NY, Ruby resided most of her life in Greenbrook before moving to Fair Haven several years ago. Ruby managed a popular retail business in Plainfield, NJ for 52 years before retiring 25 years ago. She enjoyed her retirement with involvement in many community projects and spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Bucher; mother, Cecil Kelly; father, Rufus A. Budine; step father, John B. Kelly and a sister, Dorothy M. Schultze. Grieving her passing are her nephews, Bernard (Kimber-Lee) Scott of Fair Haven, Frederick (Maureen) Scott of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Nolan (Julie) Wilcox of Pasco, Wa. as well as many great nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. The family will have a private graveside memorial service at a later date. Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal has care of arrangements.
