Notes for: William ("Billy") Bronson Woodard

Billy was born on his parents' farm in East Fork, Bath County, Kentucky.

Belva Woodard, Billy's wife, says that the name "Bronson" came from a man named Bronson Snedegar who owned a grocery store in Owingsville back when Billy was born. People really respected grocers back then; so his name was quite respected.
