Betty was named as Mrs. J. V. Heard in the December 1962 obituary of her brother Wallace Bodine.

Mrs. Betty Hutcherson Heard, 50, of 500 1/2 Woodland Aven., who had been a nurse at the Newell Clinic Hospital for 12 years died Monday. She was a member of First Presbyterian Chapel. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sydney Dickson of Chattanooga; three sons, Paul Hutcherson of South Pittsburg, and Willard DeWight Hutcherson and Fred G. Hutcherson of Chattanooga; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Burrows and Mrs. Jack Spence of Chattanooga; four brothers, Cecil Bodine and Earl Bodine of Chattanooga; Fred Bodine of California and Harry Lemons of Chattanooga; and seven grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home with Dr. Willard A. Peak officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Earl B. Bodine, Jack K. Spence Sr., John R. Bradley, Joe Burrows, Jack K. Spence Jr. and Kenneth Sherrill.

HUTCHERSON---PAUL NORRIS JR., 61, of 440 Patten Chapel Road, died late Friday night in a local hospital. Mr. Hutcherson had been a lifetime salesman and had worked as a salesman with the Terminex Co. for the past few years. He was of the Presbyterian faith, was a veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Lovelace Hutcherson, Chattanooga; four daughters, Mrs. Judy Dickson, Miss Paula Hutcherson, Miss Martha Hutcherson, Miss Mary Hutcherson, all of Chattanooga; five sons, Willard Hutcherson, Fred Hutcherson, Charles Hutcherson, Bobby Hutcherson, all of Chattanooga, and Norris Hutcherson, South Pittsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Bryan, Nashville; Mrs. Frances Curvin, Chattanooga, and Mrs. Margaret Brown, Florida; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home with the Rev. M. K. Weaver officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home, 747 McCallie Ave., Chattanooga.
