James B. Bodine, Sr., age 61, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away on May 2, 2025. James dedicated many years of his life to working for SEPTA, where he was known for his strong work ethic. After retirement, he enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought him great joy: trips to Whale Creek where you could find him reading a book on the beach, jet skiing, or relaxing at the shore house with family and friends. James also found peace in keeping up with his garden and cooking his famous hot sauces and pickles. Above all, James most treasured pastime was spending time and making memories with his grandchildren. Devoted father of James B. Bodine, Jr. (Elise) and Shannon Marie Bodine (Eric). Dear brother of Tina Bodine, Diane Bodine and Joseph Bodine. Loving grandfather of Maria Quinn, Mya Bodine, Gianna Bodine and RJ Dudley. He is also survived by his loyal pup, Oreo, who was always by his side. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation for James on Monday, May 12th, 2025 from 6:00PM to 7:30PM at the DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 125 N. WHITE HORSE PIKE, LINDENWOLD, NJ. Time of sharing will begin at 7:30PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in James name to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043.
