Shirlene M. Knoll nee Bodine, age 78, longtime resident of Homewood. Beloved wife of Alfred G. Knoll. Loving mother of Alfred P. Knoll, Daniel J. (Laurie) Knoll, S. Maria (Jeffrey) Benner, Joseph Knoll and the late John Michael Knoll. Cherished grandmother of Sarita, Anna, Michael, Grace, David, Samantha Grace, Jennifer and Jack. Great-grandmother of Joseph, Sam, Nolan, Evelyn and Eddie. Dear sister of Nona Houser, James (Venus) Bodine, Cheryl Bodine-Reed and Angela (Alan) Kelley. Fond aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend to many. Resting at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood on Friday June 23, from 2-7 pm. Funeral Saturday with 9:15 am prayers at the Funeral Home to St. Anne Church in Hazel Crest for a 10 am Mass of the Resurrection. Interment Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood.
