Joan M. Vosbury, 52, passed away Sunday, February 28, 1993 at Lourdes Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Duncan; her sons, Mark Vosbury, and Scott Vosbury, Conklin; her daughter, Lisa Vosbury, Conklin; her granddaughter, Erika Vosbury, Conklin; her father, Albert Scherer, Conklin; her mother-in-law, Doris Vosbury, Conklin; her sisters and brothers-in--law, Nancy and Roger Christian, Kirkwood, Marilyn and Donald Everett, Florida, Barbara and Floyd Whitemarsh, Apalachin, Judy Kinner, Binghamton, Joyce Deyo, Fla.; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Carol Scherer, Conklin, Albert and Nancy Scherer, Vestal; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Beatrice Prendergast, S.C. She was co-owner of Dunk's Ice Cream Store in Conklin. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. at the Conklin Presbyterian Church, 1175 Conklin Road, Conklin, with Rev. Stephen W. Starzer officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Frank L. DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Ave., Binghamton.

Duncan K. Vosbury passed away December 11, 2012 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by both his wife, Joan and his parents, R. Duncan and Doris Vosbury. He is survived by his loving companion, Violet E. Scott; his children, Mark D. Vosbury, Scott M. Vosbury, daughter-in-law, Kelli B. Parsons, daughter Lisa M. Vosbury and companion Scott Stupski; also surviving are his loving grandchildren, Erika R. Vosbury, Brandon D. Vosbury, Andrea R. Scott and Kalab Smith; his "special" children Chrissi Scott and David Rumsey along with his "special grandchildren" Megan and Mary Eileen Scott and their parents, Lawrence and Mary Ellen Scott; sister, Bea Mary Pendergast and her children, William, Robert, and their families, along with many cousins, their children, and many friends including Roger Christian, Jerry and Gloria Galazyn, and so many others. He retired from the New York State Police and was an Army veteran. He, his wife, and children owned and operated Dunk's Ice Cream Store featuring "Dunk's Famous Chili Dogs". He was loved by so many customers and friends, especially the children whom he loved. We would like to thank and express our gratitude for their love and care to Dr. J. Vincens, Nancy Libous, Kristen Lewis, Dr. Shady and Nurse Sandy whom he loved and had so much confidence in. God bless them all. Dunk loved his two faithful dogs Willie and Charlie, his "barn", his woodworking tools, and the wonderful things he created. He was a true sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and also loved to travel between his home in Conklin and his home in Florida. He now rests in the arms of the angels. He fought a good fight, but could not fight any longer. Go in peace my love to the arms of God. Memorial Services will be conducted Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Community Baptist Church 743 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson with Pastor Steve Chastine officiating . DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 4 - 7 PM and Wednesday at the Church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service
