Rita Marie Bodine, 84, of Destin, Florida, died August 17,2020, at North Okaloosa Medical Center. She had survived breast cancer 6 years ago but had it returned and metastasized to the other organs. She was born December 23rd,1935, in Cornell, Wisconsin, the daughter of late George and Myrtle Bruyette. She was the second of 4 siblings., She graduated from Cornell High School in 1954. She was married twice, first to Arnie L Johnson and had six children, second to Frank W Bodine and had no further children. She is survived by two brothers Bob Bruyette, Ronnie Bruyette, and sister Georgia Williams, and six children Larry T Johnson, Cynthia M Barnard, Brenda S Christensen, Wendy K Johnson-Willcoxen, Tommy W Johnson, Wayne A Johnson and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. It's been Rita's wish to not have a memorial service but to be cherished in memory, and to be cremated and ashes to be spread.

Frank William Bodine, 86, long time resident of Anoka, MN passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024, at Maranatha Care Center in Brooklyn Center, MN with his beloved wife Cheryl and son Eric by his side. Frank was born on January 8, 1938, in Malmo, MN to Edwin and Florence Bodine. Frank was preceded in death by his father Edwin and mother Florence (Danielson) and his beloved granddaughters, Heather Bodine, Katie Murray and Ashley Murray. He was survived by his wife of 43 years, Cheryl, and six sons, Robert (Cindie), Dennis, Donald (Tami Rorvig), Timothy (Deborah), William (Robin) and Eric (Fallie), two stepsons Brian (Susan) Murray and Gerald (Dawn) Murray, his grandchildren, Becky, Allen, Christine, Jon, Tiffany, Megan, Travis, Christian, Noah, Emily, Billie Jo, Cole, Elliot, Bella and Liliana, great grandchildren Hannah and Victoria, and his extended Burns family. Frank retired from Short-Elliot Henderson (SEH), and in his retirement delivered flowers and worked at the Minneapolis Auto Auction but found the most joy in driving bus for Kottkes Bus Service in Andover, MN, ensuring his kids arrived at school safely and with smiles across their faces. Frank loved tractors, antique cars, and tinkering in his garage workshop. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends to places such as the Black Hills, North Shore, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and several beloved trips to Walt Disney World. Please join us in a Celebration of Life for Frank on Sunday, February 11th from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home - 552 E River Rd, Anoka, MN.
