Scotch Plains---Helen Bodine Miller, 93, an etiquette director, died Monday (July 29, 1991) at Meridian Nursing Home in Westfield. She was born in Merchantville and lived in Hackensack, Pittsburgh, Silver Spring, Md., and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., before moving to Scotch Plains in 1990. Mrs. Miller attended Bucknell University for two years and was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She was an etiquette director of silverware display for Westmoreland Silver in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Surviving are a son, B. Lawrence Newcomb, a former mayor and councilman in Scotch Plains; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Helen Rosenthal of Kensington, Md.; a stepson, Edward Miller of New York City; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 7 p.m. tomorrow at Fanwood Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by Rossi Funeral Home in Scotch Plains.

Paul and Helen Miller were residents of Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1984.
