Agnes V. Bodine, 63, of Vineland, died Sunday morning in Newcomb Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Millville, Mrs. Bodine lived in Vineland most of her life. Survivors are her husband, George L. Sr.; a son, George L. Jr. of Vineland; a daughter, Sandra Parrish of Vineland; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Pancoast Funeral Home with the Rev. James Hibschman of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Vineland. Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday evening before and after the services commencing at 7 p.m.

Leona M. Bodine, 86, of Vineland and a resident of Bishop McCarthy Nursing Center, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center, Vineland. Born on Feb. 27, 1927, to the late Henry and Violetta (Kinter) Stiles in Vandergrifth, Pa., Leona moved to New Jersey in 1959 and has been a resident of Vineland for the past 30 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and bird watching. Leona was predeceased by her first husband Lawrence Conrad in 1977, her second husband George Bodine in 1985 and by her infant son Merle. She was also predeceased by her brother Harry Stiles, of Ohio and her sisters; Dorothy Ober of Pennsylvania and Charlotte Phelps of Texas. Leona is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Conrad of Vineland and her loving son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Phyllis Conrad of Wildwood; four granddaughters, Tricia Kopreski of Vineland, Heather Schum, Shannon Conrad and Kelly Conrad, all of Wildwood. Her grandson, David and wife Rebecca Conrad of Wildwood; and four great-grandsons, Randall, David, Ed and Brendon. Leona is also survived by her four sisters, Jessie Barrickman of West Virginia, Mildred Justice of Ohio, Alice Stutzman of Wisconsin and Ellen Clark and her husband Bill of Ohio; two brothers, James Stiles and A. Dale Stiles both of Texas; her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Stiles of Ohio and Nancy Cruley of Pennsylvania; and her brother-in-law, David Powell of North Carolina; also many nieces and nephews. George L. Bodine Sr., 63, of Vineland, died Tuesday at home. Born in Philadelphia, he was a Vineland resident most of his life. He attended West Baptist Tabernacle Church and was an active baseball player, playing on several local area leagues. He played third base. Mr. Bodine was a retired employee of Lab Glass Company and recently worked part time for L. S. Riggins Oil Company. He is survived by his wife, Leona; a son, George Jr. of Vineland; a daughter, Sandra Parrish of Ephrata, Pa. and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Edmond Hampton of the West Baptist Tabernacle Church officiating, and will be assisted by the Rev. Carlton Bodine. Burial will be private in Oak Hill Cemetery.
