Kenneth Berdine of Warren, Pa. enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps on 17 Aug 1944 at New Cumberland, Pa. He is a 1952 graduate of Lycoming College at Williamsport with a B.S. degree in retailing.

Kenneth M. Berdine, 94, died peacefully in his home on Sunday, April 18 in Bluffton, SC. Born July 4, 1926 in Warren, PA, Ken previously lived in Jamestown, NY. He retired to Plant City, FL and later moved to Bluffton, SC in 2009. Ken is the son of the late Ernest and Mildred Philips Berdine. He was preceded in death by his first wife; Joan K. Hesch (1978). He is survived by his wife of 40 years; Mary Ellen Berdine; his two daughters, Sandy Anderson (Ron) of California and Linda Breitbach (Garry) of Arizona; her three daughters, Susan Hernandez (Hector) of California, Anne Condio of Florida, and Joan Meehan of New York, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Mr. Berdine served in the Army Air Corp from 1943 to 1946 during World War II with honorable discharge. He was a graduate of Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA in 1952. He led a fulfilling career as an account manager for Consolidated Freightway in Jamestown, NY. Ken was an avid golfer with a love for reading. Sailing on Lake Erie was a favorite pastime. He cherished quality time with his wife, Mary Ellen and Havanese dog, Toby. At his request, there will be a private service at St. Gregory the Great Catholic church. Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton, SC is serving the family.
