A carpenter who lived in Clark County most of his life, Frederick T. Bodin died in Vancouver on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999. He was 87. Mr. Bodin enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking. He was born July 5, 1911, in Bemidji, Minn., and lived in Yacolt for the past four years. Survivors include his wife, Ina, at home; one son, Jerry of Vancouver; one brother, Lester of Battle Ground; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Ina G. Bodin, who lived in Vancouver most of her life, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 95. Mrs. Bodin was a member of United Finnish Kelva Brothers and Sisters Lodge in Hockinson.
She was born Dec. 2, 1908, in Frontier, Wyo. Mrs. Bodin enjoyed gardening, hiking, cooking, camping and photography. Her husband, Frederick, died in 1999. She is survived by one son, Jerry of Vancouver, one grandchild and one great-grandchild. A graveside service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
