Mr. ShaMarr Lendel Bodine (Poopie) age 34, was born March 8, 1991 in Dayton, Ohio, departed this life unexpectedly on Friday, May 16, 2025. He is preceded in death by his father, Steve Hawkins; brother, Shaun L. Bodine; uncle, paternal grandfather, maternal grandmother & great-grandmother; and 5 close cousins. Survivors include his mother, Laniece Bodine-King; 6 children, ShaMarr II, Dashion, KeyMauri, Chavaughn, Carlo and Ra'elle; 2 bonus babies, Shaun L. Bodine II and Aushiona Gray; grandmother, 6 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 uncles, 4 aunts, special companion, Patience Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Thomas Funeral Home & Crematory, 4520 Salem Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45416. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
