Hillegas & Louisa Shields AND Blanche Althea Bodine, of Cuyahoga Falls, stenographer, age 21 on 9 Nov 1930, daughter of Anthony Bodine & Dora Smith, were married 15 March 1930 by O. A. Keach, Minister.

CUYAHOGA FALLS---Jacob B. Hillegas, 60, an employee of B. F. Goodrich for 25 years, died Tuesday at Akron General Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Hillegas, of 721 Chestnut blvd., was born in Windber, Pa., but was a resident of this area 42 years. He was a member of the Goodrich 20-Year Club. He leaves his wife, Blanche, a son, James B. of Tallmadge; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Hutti of Akron; brothers, Michael of Akron and John of Diamond, and four grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery.

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Blanche A. Hillegas, 79, passed away Jan. 13 at Colonial Gardens Care Center. Mrs. Hillegas was born in Akron, and had been a resident of Cuyahoga Falls over 56 years. The past two years, she had lived in Tallmadge. She was a homemaker most of her life, but had worked at the Blossom Shop Candies and as a receptionist at WAKR. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob B., and is survived by son and daughter-in-law, James B. and Joann Hillegas of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Kevin and Pauline Hillegas of Cuyahoga Falls, Karen and Jeff Sturm of Cuyahoga Falls, Kathi Hillegas of Tallmadge, Kelli and Rob Fischer of Tallmadge; great- grandchildren, Kate and Kyle Fischer of Tallmadge; sister, Miss Doris Bodine of Cuyahoga Falls. Funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Hillegas Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge, Dr. Franklin S. Nauman officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, 6 to 9 p.m. Family requests that memorials be given to Goodyear Heights Presbyterian Church.
