Jeffrey Lynn Schlenker, 20, of 1105 S. Second St., died at 10:20 p.m. Saturday at his home. Death was due to hanging and was an apparent suicide, according to Deputy Coroner Lloyd Workman. Survivors include his wife, Jan Carol Bodine Schlenker; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James P. Schlenker, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin P. Schlenker. The funeral will be at 11 a.mj. Tuesday at McAfee Funeral Home, 3928 Bardstown Road, with burial in Mount Washington Cemetery.

Henryville, IN - Jan Carol Scott, 59, entered into rest on Saturday, May 26, 2018. She was a homemaker and member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Bodine. She is survived by her husband, Bob Scott; children, Cindy and Brian Finley; mother, Bonnie Bodine; siblings, Greg (Dawn) and Tim Bodine; nieces and nephew, Leslie Higgins and Lauren and Brandon Bodine. Her memorial service is 11:00am Saturday at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 7709 Bardstown Rd. Visitation is after 10:00am until the time of the service. [Note: Her residence was Charlestown, IN.]
