Cleo Ollie Richard Neal, 80, of Arab died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at Marshall Medical Center North. Mr. Neal was born Feb. 19, 1927, in Madison County to Ollie Jackson Neal and Alta Jo Kennedy Neal. He was married to Carolyn Bodine Neal, who passed away in 1999. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a pipe fitter/contractor, member of Claysville Holiness Church and lived in Arab for the past 20 years after moving from the New Market area. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Glenn and Sharon Neal of Harvest; two daughters: Carolyn Lewis of Tennessee and Rita Holliday of Lacey's Spring; four grandchildren; and two sisters: Moline Pierce of Huntsville and Louise Brewer of New Market. The funeral service was at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Heritage Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Harold Fanning officiating. Burial was in Brookwood Cemetery, with Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.

ARAB - Carolyn Neal, 61, of Arab died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab. Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Cleo Neal; two daughters, Rita Holliday of Lacey's Spring and Carolyn Lewis of Mississippi; two sons, Terry Hulsey of Arab and Glenn Neal of Harvest; her mother, Ruby Bodine of Arab; one brother, James Bodine of Decatur; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
