Elias P. Wisner, 26, single, born in NY AND Emma Bodine, 19, single, born in Orange Co., NY, were married 11 April 1861 in Manhattan, New York County.

2nd marriage--1861/63-- STINER.
On 1 Dec 1863, Bushrod Millspaugh of Montgomery, Orange Co., NY petitioned the surrogate court of Orange County reporting the death of Elizabeth Bodine of Montgomery and named among her heirs "Emma wife of _______." Her married name was left blank. But on 5 Jan 1864, when Bushrod was sworn in as executor, he noted that a citation was delivered to "Emma Stiner of New York City." The assumption here is that Emma married twice as no other Emma from Orange County is known. The name may have been spelled phonetically in the record and nothing subsequent has yet been found.
