Hubert Earl Bundon and Bonnie Jean Burdine were married 16 Sept 1950 by William F. Hall, Pastor, Wildwood Baptist Church.

Bonnie Jean Burdine Bundon, age 91, went to her home in heaven on April 20, 2023. She leaves behind her husband of 72 years, Hubert Earl Bundon, three children: Brenda (Howard) Jewell, Michael (Joy) Bundon, Rebecca (Phil) Kelly; grandchildren: Jonathan (Heather) Bundon, Michaela (Jason) Odom, Lesley (Jeremy) Pickell, Brandt (Sonya) Jewell, Jonathan (Shanna) Kelly, Andy (Megan) Kelly; 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents, Timothy and Edith Burdine, and siblings: Margaret Galyon, Virginia Bailey, Ralph Burdine and Conley Ray Burdine. Other siblings include William Timothy Burdine, Jr., Louvenia Helton and Gail Cupp. Mrs. Bundon was a devoted wife, loving mother and Christian servant who worked with children in three Blount County churches as well as substitute teaching and volunteering at Porter school. She sang in the choir and supported her husband who led music in several Blount County churches. Family will receive friends 1:30-2:00 pm Monday, April 24, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 5302 Nails Creek Road, Maryville, TN, followed by the service at 2:00 pm. Family and friends will then proceed to the church cemetery for interment, after which, reception will be held in the church fellowship hall for family and friends. Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Branch will provide services for the family. Friends may leave respects at the funeral or online at www.mynattfh.com.
