Notes for: Wayne ("Jack") Edwin Cates

Wayne Cates Was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army during the North African Campaign. He retired in 1985 following 15 years service as a construction worker for the Tennessee Valley Authority at the Sequoia Nuclear Plant at Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. He was a founding member of the Seventh Day Church of God in Dayton. Wayne Cates was buried in Rigsby Cemetery. See his newspaper obituary in the Dayton "Herald News" of 5 May 2002.
