Notes for: Arthur Anderson Bodine

From Ronny Bodine:

Erma Ewing taught 7th grade at Euchee School, in Meigs County, in the 1924-5 school year, and noted Arthur's birthdate as 6 May 1909 in her student gradebook. However, Arthur used the date 16 May 1909 throughout his life.

Arthur Bodine worked much of his life as a taxi driver, many of those years in Harriman. He died of head injuries one week following a fall down a flight of stairs at his home and was buried in Hornsby Chapel Cemetery in Meigs County.

Maude (Shannahan) Bodine died of pellagra and was buried in Luminary Cemetery, Roane County. Arthur and Gertrude Bodine were divorced in 1968 in Roane County. Gertrude was buried in Dyllis Cemetery in Roane County.
