The wedding of Miss Hally P. Wolfson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel P. Wolfson, of 142 Somerset street, to Monroe S. Berdine, formerly of this city, but now of Philadelphia, took place last evening at the residence of the aunt of the bridegroom, Miss Ruth Berdine, at 259 Townsend street. Rev. Linn E. Wheeler performed the ceremony in the presence of the immediate relatives of the young people. After a collation Mr. and Mrs. Berdine left on the 10.34 p. m. train for Philadelphia, where the bridegroom holds a responsible position. Miss Addie Berdine, a sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid, and Sidney M. Wolfson, a brother of the bride, was best man. [Note: In 1900, Hallie Wolfson, born Jan 1875 in Pennsylvania, lived with her parents, jacob & Sarah Wolfson, in New Brunswick, NJ.]

Monroe Berdine who formerly resided here and who married the daughter of M. Wolfson, of the Star Clothing company, appeared as an actor in New Brunswick last night. He took the part of the undertaker in the production of "The Mayor of Laughland" at the local opera house. He is as big as ever, and has changed little. It was said among his friends that his wife was in the chorus, but this is untrue, as the marital affairs of the young couple did not turn out happily, and they have separated.

Monroe Berdine, formerly of New Brunswick, is living in this city at present. Mr. Berdine married a Washington girl about six months ago, and he holds a responsible position as salesman with a large piano firm of this city.

Monroe Berdine, who died in a hospital at Washington, D. C, on June 11, was well known in this city, being a nephew of Former Prosecutor George Berdine, of this city. Some years ago he married Miss Wolfson in this city and upon her death he married again. He is survived by his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Lucas Boeve of Lebanon, and Mrs. Harvey Bruce, of Red Bank.
