Sodus, July 13.---Jacob Peter Bodine and Miss Elizabeth Heald, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Heald, were married 30 June at the residence of Rev. G. Tyssee, the Reformed church minister, at East Williamson. Abram Bodine, brother of the groom, was in attendance.

1930 Sodus, Wayne County: Jacob P. BODINE 47 Holland farmer; Elizabeth 43 England wife; Dorothy H. 15 NY dau; George P. 13 Ny son; Calvin J. 12 NY son.

On 12 Sept 1911, Jacob Peter Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Wayne County. He reported his birth as 18 June 1881, that he was a self-employed farmer and that Elizabeth Bodine was his next of kin.

SODUS---Jacob P. Bodine, 88, a native of Holland and a resident of this country and of the Sodus area since he was three years old, died Tuesday (July 1, 1969) in Myers Community Hospital here. Surviving are a son, George P. Bodine of Sodus Point; two daughters, Mrs. Peter (Pauline) Verburg and Mrs. Tommy (Dorothy) Kelsey, both of Sodus; a sister, Mrs. Marie Parlow of Bellevue; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the H. S. Norton & Co., Inc. Funeral Home where friends may call today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial in Sodus Rural Cemetery.
