Mrs. George H. Bodine, who lives at Marietta, Ohio, has been notified of the death of her husband who died on the Tonopah local yesterday and until word is received from her no disposal will be made of the body. Mr. Bodine who was engaged in mining in the southern country was being brought to Reno for treatment yesterday but after he wa splaced on the train his condition became suddenly worse and he died soon after. On the arrival of the local last night Perkins & Gulling took charge of the body and will hold it awaiting instructions from Mrs. Bodine. [Note: The issue of 22 Dec reported Mr. Bodine was buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Reno.]

George H. Bodine died recently of pneumonia at Greensborough, California, where he and Mrs. Bodine have been making their home since leaving Ohio. Mr. Bodine was a prominent contractor and was formerly engaged in extensive operations throughout eastern Ohio. He at one time conducted a real estate agency in Cambridge and was also connected with several large building enterprises in this vicinity. [Note: Greensborough/Greensboro cannot be identified as a community in California and there is no California state record of his death there.]
Annie M. Bodine was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Ballard, Santa Barbara County, California.
