Bratt, Vivian (Bodine) Age 83 of New Brighton passed away peacefully after a long courageous struggle with Alzheimer's on July 18 2011. Survived by loving husband of 59 years, Don; son David (Sherri); daughter Christine; grandchildren Ryan, Tori, Eric (Mia); brother Philip (Barb); sister Beatrice (Jerry); nieces, nephews & other relatives and friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, July 29 from 10 AM until the 11 AM Memorial service all at St. Philip's Lutheran Church, 6180 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Lighthouse of Columbia Heights & the St. Jude Hospice for the loving care they provided to Vivian. Bratt, Donald Herbert age 88, of New Brighton passed away peacefully. Navy Veteran of the South Pacific in WWII and Korea. Preceded in death by his wife Vivian; sisters, Pauline Fitzgerald, Marion Lundquist. He is survived by children, David (Sheri), Christine; grandchildren, Ryan, Tori, Eric (Mia); great grandchild, Blake. Celebration of life will be at St. Phillips Church, 6180 Hwy 65 NE, Tuesday, September 30, at 11 A.M. with a visitation 1 hour before. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ryan D. Bratt Trust Fund. Ryan is Don & Vivian's grandson.
