Notes for: Robert ("Roy") Geroy Bodine

I did have his name as Robert Groy Bodine. RB says the official record of his death in Texas shows his name to be Robert Geroy Bodine. Here is what Thomas Bodine said about this:

Robert Geroy Bodine - This is his correct name. I just failed to update all places where it should have been. He would sign his name as "Roy" and he was known as "Roy".

...

Best regards,
Thomas

Thomas said that was still a very active person at the age of 84, farming 250 acres and running a small herd of cattle on his ranch (as of April 1993)...He was very proud of his heritage. "His four daughters and their families surely outdid themselves in making us welcome on our trip to Texas," said Thomas Bodine of Arab, Alabama on a visit to that area.
