Notes for: Jane Wycliffe

Here is information from The Genealogist (New Series), H. W. Forsyth Harwood, v. xxi. George Bell & Sons: London, 1905:

Jane, married at Richmond, October 15, 1562, John Crosby (Raine).

Information in The Publications of the Surtees Society, v. 146 (1932), p. 15 says she married a Smelt. I'm not sure how that works out with the John Crosby mentioned here. Flower's Visitations (p. 352) says she married John Crosby on Oct. 13, 1562.
