Will of Hiram A. Bodine of the Town of Orange, New Jersey written 10 Oct 1889. Names only heir as wife Amanda D. Bodine who is also appointed executrix. Proved 28 Oct 1891.
In April 1910, Amanda D. Bodine, age 53, widow, lived with her son Sturgis R. Bodine in Portland, Multnomah County. She reported she had borne 2 children, but only her son Sturgis was living. In Jan 1920, Amanda D. Bodine, age 64, lived alone in Portland, Oregon. Amanda Tait Bodine is the sister of John R. Tait, husband of Hiram's sister Mary Adelaide Bodine.
