You have a wonderful site. It's clear that you have put much work into it.

My wife is the daughter of Naoma Bodine, born January 13, 1928 to Muriel Bodine.

Lorna Nilsen adopted Naoma on June 18, 1929 and her name was changed to Betty Nilsen. We have a copy of the adoption papers, which indicate that she was surrendered for adoption by Muriel Bodine on February 8, 1928 in New York City.

That is all the information we have.

I noticed on your site that Muriel Vivian Bodine (later Gant) was still single and living with her parents in 1930 at age 24, but there are also many other possibilities to consider.

If you have any information that would help my wife and our children find their Bodine heritage, it would be greatly appreciated.
