The 1st wife of Frank Bodine is named in the 1889 birth record of their son Sven Walter Bodin as Maria Charlotta Blomquist, age 42 and her husband France Gustav Bodin. Maria Bodin died 1897 and was buried in Graceland Cemetery. On 29 Oct 1898 in Chicago, Frank Gustaf Bodin, age 44, married Anna Marie Flobeck, age 40. In June 1900, Gust Bodin lived in Chicago, Illinois and was employed as a machinist. He reported he had immigrated from Sweden in 1889 and that in 24 years of marriage his wife had borne 5 children, all then living. His Illinois death certificate noted his father was Gustaf Norr. He was buried in Montrose Cemetery. The information he provided actually pertained to his 1st wife, as he had married his 2nd wife less than 2 years before. In April 1910, Gustaf F. Bodin lived in Chicago and worked as a machinist. He now reported (correctly) that Anna was his 2nd wife to whom he had been married 11 years and that she had borne no children. In Jan 1920, Gustaf and Anna Bodin lived alone in Chicago. Gustaf worked as a machinist in an engraving shop. The Illinois death certificate of Anna Bodin named her parents as Andrew Larson and Bertha Anderson and that she too was buried in Montrose Cemetery.
