Notes for: James 'Nelson' Bodine, Sr.

James was unable to serve his country due to a hernia. He farmed awhile before going to work at a mill that manufactured feed for the poultry and cattle industry. He was employed there when cancer struck him in 1983. He had a very dry wit about him.

James and Melba Bodine was buried in Brashier's Chapel Cemetery, Arab, Marshall County. See her death notice in the Huntsville "Times" of 13 Sept 2005.
