Seven Valleys--Frank L. Smith, 59, husband of Mrs. Florence Bodine Smith, 3225 Esther Place, Baltimore, and a former Seven Valleys area resident, died Friday at 5 p.m. at Mercy Hospital, Baltimore. He had been under the care of a physician. Mr. Smith, at the time of his death, was founder and owner of F. L. Smith and Son, Inc., a sporting goods store located in Dundalk. Also surviving are: A son, William Smith, Dundalk; his mother, Mrs. Goldie L. Smith, Seven Valleys, RD 2; three sisters, Mrs Lestie Bupp, Finksburg; Mrs. Arthur Davis and Mrs. Richard Beck, both of Seven Valleys RD 2; three brothers, Earl J. Smith, Seven Valleys RD 2; Raymond Smith, Loganville, and Stuart Smith, Jacobus, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the John Duda Funeral Home, 7922 Wise Ave., Baltimore, followed at noon with rites in Friedensaal's (White) Lutheran Church. The Rev. M. L. Kroh, a former pastor at the church, will officiate. Burial will be in adjoining cemetery.

On January 24, 1980, FLORENCE N. (nee Bodine), beloved wife of the late Franklin L. Smith, devoted mother of William F. Smith Sr., dear sister of Anna M. Raitt, Lydia Nichols, and William Bodine, Sr., loving grandmother of William F. Smith Jr., Brenda L. Smith, Sherry A Smith and Christine M. Smith. Funeral services will be held at the Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise avenue, on Sunday, at 10 A.M. Friends may call on Saturday, from 3 to 9 P.M. Further viewing and funeral services will be held at Friedensaall's Lutheran Church, 7 Valley's, Penna., on Sunday, at 2 P.M. Interment in Friedensaall's Church Cemetery.
