Leslie D. Bodine, 19, born in Indiana, son of Alva Bodine AND Jessie M. Huddleston, 17, born in Indiana, dau. of William Huddleston, were married 24 March 1904.
In April 1910, Leslie and Jessie Bodine lived in Indianapolis, Indiana where Leslie worked as a house painter. He reported that in 6 years of marriage his wife had borne no children. On 12 Sept 1918, Leslie Dare Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Osage, Pawhuska County, Oklahoma. He reported he was born 28 April 1884 in Clarksburg, Indiana, worked as a painter, and that Jessie Bodine, his wife, was his next of kin.

Jessie M. Huddleston Ray, widow of Joseph Allen Ray Sr., was born 8 Aug 1886 in Indiana, dau. of William Henry and Addie (Lamont) Huddleston; died 19 Dec 1971 in Norfolk, Virginia and was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.

Jessie M. Huddleston Ray, 85, of 130 S. Budding Ave., a daughter of William and Mrs. Addie Lamont Henry and the widow of Joseph Allen Ray Sr., died in a Norfolk hospital Sunday. A native of North Vernon, Ind., she lived here 52 years. She is survived by two sons, Lavern D. Bodine of Norfolk and Joseph Allen Ray Jr. of Ayden, N.C., three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, Monday, by the Rev. Daniel D. Dickerson of Lafayette Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

In 1942 he registered for the World War II Draft in Tulsa reporting he was born 28 April 1884 in Clarksburg, Indiana and that Margie M. Bodine, his wife, was his next of kin.
On 12 May 1951 in Tulsa, Okla. Margie Marie Bodine, 51, married Joseph Clyde Short, 50.
