Louie Hogue, 21, of Dover, Okla. AND Miss Daisy Bodine, 18, of Enid, Okla. were married 28 Aug 1909 at Anadacko by B. F. Holding, County Judge.
On 5 June 1917, Clement Miles Carr, registered for the World War I Draft in Mason City, Iowa and reported he was born 21 Oct 1891 in Riverside, Iowa, that he was single and worked as a carpenter.

Clement M. Carr, 44, of Ponca City, Kay County, a native of Iowa, son of Chas. H. Carr AND Daisy Bodine, 36, of Ponca City, a native of Okla., daughter of David Bodine, were married 27 July 1936 at Ponca City, by C. E. Hiltzel, J.P.

Mrs. Daisy Bell Carr, 56, 404 South Second, died Friday night at the Ponca City Hospital after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Monday at Grace Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Loyal Northcott, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery. She was born Aug. 5, 1898, at Geary and lived at Geary and Enid, where she attended school. She moved to Ponca City in 1920 and owned and operated a grocery store. She married Clem Carr July 27, 1936, in Ponca City. Her sister, Mrs. Martha Stewart, died three years ago. Her only susvivor is her niece, Mrs. Joe (Guynetta) Stewart, Oklahoma City.

Clem M. Carr, 71, Rays Courts, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday at the Veterans Hospital, Wichita, after an extended illness. He entered the hospital August 9. Born Oct. 21, 1889, in Riverside, Iowa, he was educated in Iowa City, Iowa, and was a World War I veteran. He entered the service at Dallas, April 5, 1918, and was honorably discharged Jan. 15, 1919, at Pensacola, Fla. Carr was married to Daisy Belle Bodine July 27, 1936, at Ponca City. He was a member of the American Legion and had been in failing health for 10 years. Survivors are a brother, R. N. Carr, Dallas; four sisters, Mrs. Howard Woodfill, Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Cliff Paschall, Indianapolis, Mrs. Joe W. Spriggs, San Antonio, Tex., and Mrs. Fred Bundy, Manhattan, Kan. He was preceded in death by his wife on December 24, 1955, his parents and a sister. Carr's body is to be returned to Ponca City Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services are pending under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
