Services for Mrs. Ruth Owens Bodine, active in Girl Scout and church work for many years in the Dormont area, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at L. Beinhauer and Son Co. Mortuary, 2630 West Liberty Ave. Mrs. Bodine, 51, of 3003 Dwight Ave., Dormont, died Tuesday in West Penn Hospital. She was a member of the Dormont Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Gerald C.; a daughter, Mrs. Judith Hoffman of Wichita, Kan.; her mother, Mrs. Florence Owens; a sister, Mrs. Helen Pease; and a grandchild. Friends are being received at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be made in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. The family suggests memorial contributions to the building fund of the Dormont Presbyterian Church.

Gerald A. "Jerry" Bodine, Age 88, of Dormont, on Wednesday, January 17, 2007. Beloved Husband of the late Doris S. Flynn and the late Ruth Owens; Loving Father of Judy (Norman) Caves, Patty (Steve) Milani, Michael (Eileen) Flynn, Judy Hoffman and the late Bonnie Bodine; Brother of Fred W.
