Martinsburg, WVa. Miss Margaret Susan Lord and Mr. William Joseph Bodine were married at the rectory of St. Joseph's Catholic Church here on January 1.

Mr. William Joseph Bodine Sr, 86, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of Potomac, died Saturday, May 20, at Florida Hospital Heartland Division, Sebring. He was the husband Margaret Susan Lord Bodine. He was born Oct. 31, 1913 in Montgomery County. He was a graduate of Rockville High School, and Strayer Business College, Washington. He retired as a government employee from the Corps of Engineers, McMillan Filter Plant, Washington. He was a member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics, NAREE and AARP. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Susan Kay Bodine Burdette of Germantown; four sons, William J. Bodine Jr. of Scoring, Charles Lord Bodine and Richard Lyle Bodine, both of Frederick, and Thomas Jay Bodine of Jessup; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Virginia Keys. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 24, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va. Services will be Thursday, May 25, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Tuscarora Cemetery

Margaret Susan Lord Bodine, 100, of Frederick, MD (formerly of Martinsburg, WV) passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Edenton Facility. Born September 1, 1920 in Berkeley County, WV she was the daughter of the late Harry P. Lord and Catherine Chincarini Lord. She is survived by three sons, Charles Lord Bodine, Richard Lyle Bodine, and Thomas Jay Bodine; one daughter, Susan Kay Bodine Burdette; eleven grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; one brother Harry Lord; and one sister, Joan Ciccone. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Bodine; one son, William J. Bodine, Jr.; one grandson, Paul Joseph Burdette; one sister, Anita Lord Scott; stepbrother, Charles Lord; and half-brother, Lyle J. Lord. The Brown Funeral Home will only be open for family to receive friends and family from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2021 followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m.. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives. Interment will be in Tuscarora Presbyterian Cemetery.
