In 1910, Oscar and Esther Bodine lived in Scott Township, Buena Vista County, Iowa engaged in farming. On 12 Sept 1918, Fritz Oscar Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Buena Vista County. He reported he was born 10 Dec 1882, that Ester Helen Bodine was his next of kin, and that he was a farmer. In April 1930, Oscar and Ester Bodine, and their daughter Maxine, lived in Elk Township, Buena Vista County. Ester (Lindberg) Bodine was the daughter of Carl John and Johanna Sophia (Johnson) Lindberg.
