William Bodine lived June 1900 in Monticello, Cowlitz County, Washington where he engaged in farming. He reported he had been married 17 years and his wife had borne 2 children, both then living. In 1910, William Bodine lived with his wife Nancy and daughter Bessie in Los Angeles where he was employed as Keeper of the city reservoir. He reported their 2 children were still living. By Jan 1920, Norma Bodine, now widowed, lived in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon with her daughter Bessie and was employed as matron of a girl's college.

"Cowlitz Pioneer Dies"
Kelso, Saturday, Feb. 22---Mrs. Nancy Jane Bodine, age pioneer resident of Cowlitz County, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. V. E. Hoven, at Eugene, Ore., this week. She was a daughter of William O. and Sarah Huntington, pioneer residents of the Rose Valley district, and lived in Cowlitz county almost all her life. She and her husband at one time owned the present site of the county farm just north of West Kelso. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hoven and Bess Bodine of Eugene. [Note: At the time of her marriage she was Normie J. Huntingdon and appears as Norma Bodine at other times, but her death in Oregon was reported as Nancy J. Bodine.]

EUGENE, Or., Feb. 21.--(Special.)--Mrs. Nancy J. Bodine died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. V. E. Hoven, in Eugene Wednesday night. She was born at Beaverton, Or., February 8, 1861, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Huntington, pioneer couple of Oregon. In later years she lived in Washington and California. In 1883 she was married to William A. Bodine and in 1915 took up her residence in Eugene at the Girls' Junior college of the Eugene Bible university, where she had seince been matron. Two daughters, Mrs. V. E. Hoven and Miss Bess Bodine, and a sister, Miss Belle Huntington of Forest Grove, survive.
