Penn Yan---Lewis Earl Reeve, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Reeve, 162 E. Lake Rd., and Miss Barbara Bodine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Bodine, Penn Yan RD 4, were married 20 Oct. at the Methodfist Church chapel by the pastor, the Rev. Sheldon Stephenson.

Barbara A. Reeve, age 72, of Cty. Rte. 74, Pulteney, died Monday, September 20th at home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 24th at 4 p.m. at the Bottoni-Wood Funeral Home, 4 Mechanic St., Prattsburgh, with the Rev. Kate Benton officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Tier Hospice, or to Guthrie Cancer Center. Barbara was born April 8th, 1932, to the late Ervin and Elizabeth Bodine . She had hauled livestock with her father for many years, ran a Times Union Newspaper Route, was a waitress, worked for Cornell as a Nutrition Aid, and was a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lewis, sons, Scott (Sue Hadden) Reeve, of Prattsburgh, Steve (Alberta) Reeve, of Bath, Samuel (Michelle) Reeve, of Farmington; daughters, Sandy (Kevin) Colf, of Stanley and Sherry (John) Ballan, of Pulteney; 18 grandchildren; brother, Art Bodine, of Penn Yan; sister, Mary (Kenny) Colf, of 2nd Milo; and several nieces and nephews.

Prattsburgh---Lewis Earl Reeve, age 76, of Prattsburgh, NY went to the lord Wednesday, October 29th, 2014. Lewis was born in Bath, NY on September 5th, 1938, the son of the late Velma Root Reeve and John Stevenson Reeve. Lewis enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an over the road tractor trailer driver for many years. Lewis is survived by his sons, Samuel (Michelle) Reeve of Geneva, Scott (Kathy) Reeve of Bath, Steven (Alberta) Reeve of Bath; daughters, Sherri (John) Ballem of Prattsburgh and Sandra (Kevin) Bodine Colf of Stanley; Twenty Grandchildren; Two great grandchildren; and one brother, David (Linda) Reeve of Penn Yan. In addition to his parents, Lewis was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Bodine Reeve in 2004; his sister, Ella; and brother in law, Arthur Bodine. Friends and family may call from 11am to 1pm on Friday, November 7th, 2014 at the Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY 14527, where his funeral will follow at 1pm. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Lewis' memory to the Pulteney Volunteer Ambulance, 9203 Cty Rte. 74, Pulteney, NY 14874.
