EVANSTON - Funeral services for Evanston resident Lillian Bodine, 91, will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 20, in the Evanston Fourth Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be in Evanston City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service-time. She died Dec. 17, 2003, in Evanston. Born March 31, 1912, in Almy, she was the daughter of Sam and Nellie (Turner) Robinson. On June 8, 1934, she married Harry Lee Bodine in the Salt Lake Utah Temple. A mother and housewife, she worked at Blyth and Fargo in her later years. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings, including Relief Society president and teacher; and a masterful quilter and seamstress. She loved her family. Survivors include her husband of 69 years and two sons and their wives, Lee and Don, all of Evanston; four daughters and their husbands, Judy Johnson of Orem, Utah, Kathy Harrison of Lovell, Bonnie Lym of Dallas and Ruth Walburger of Calgary, Calif.; sister, Mary Lowham of Evanston; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Ray; two infant brothers; and two infant grandchildren. Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston is in charge of arrangements.

EVANSTON - Funeral services for Harry Lee Bodine, 91, will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 22, at the Evanston LDS Fourth Ward. Interment will be in Evanston City Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6 until 8 p.m., today, at Crandall Funeral Home. He died March 19, 2005, at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Evanston. Born March 30, 1913, in Evanston, he was the son of George H. and Irene Tueller Bodine. On June 8, 1934, he married Lillian Robinson in the Salt Lake City, LDS Temple. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served as a Bishop, member of the Stake Presidency and on the High Council. He enjoyed genealogy work and also earned his Silver Beaver in scouting. He also enjoyed singing in men's quartets, was a choir director and played saxophone for a dance band. Survivors include his sons, Lee Bodine and his wife, Don Bodine and his wife, all of Evanston; his daughters, Judy Johnson and her husband of Orem, Utah, Kathy Harrison and her husband of Lovell, Bonnie Lym and her husband of Dallas, Texas, and Ruth Walburger and her husband of Calgary, Canada; his sister, Frances Moss of Bountiful, Utah; a brother, Jack Tueller of Bountiful; a brother-in-law, Jack Fadds of Evanston; 21 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, a brother Bob and a sister Hazel. Arrangements are under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
